Disclaimer: I was kindly gifted this box by Mindful Souls in exchange for an honest review of their product. All opinions expressed in this review are mine alone.
Mindful Souls is a website devoted to help people begin or enhance their spiritual practice, as well as to gain a sense of spiritual peace and fulfillment. They kindly sent me their Mindful box for review.
If you have not already done so, check out their website, which has a ton of great products. They have a wide selection of items, including tops and dresses, home decor, crystals, jewelry, and crystal bottles, and more. I loved several of the T-shirts and necklaces.
Every monthly Mindful Box features six to eight items ranging from crystals, aromatherapy items, gemstone jewelry, home decor pieces, wellness items, to natural cosmetics. Each item is curated to promote self-care, wellness, and healing.
The box was neatly and thoughtfully packaged so that the items did not move around and break during shipping.
It contained five items: a pendulum amethyst necklace, a lotus flower necklace, a white turquoise and lava stone bracelet, a rose quartz pointer crystal, a dreamcatcher, a Serenity Buddha figurine, a bottle of rosemary essential oil, as well as an insert explaining each item and their significance.
Each of the small items came packaged in their own little drawstring cloth sack with the Mindful Souls logo on it.
Pendulum amethyst necklace
The amethyst pendulum necklace is made with a large amethyst crystal attached to an adjustable string. The color of amethyst is quite striking and as you can see in the photo above, in the light the stone seems to radiate a beautiful soft purple glow. I have worn the necklace multiple times and have received many compliments on it, although it is not a piece of jewelry I would have normally picked for myself. The stone is a little bit large for a necklace, but I really didn’t mind and it wasn’t as heavy as I thought it might be.
I love rocks and crystals and amethyst has long been one of my favorites, so I was very excited to find this included in the box. I don’t personally ascribe to the belief that crystals have any sort of mystical healing, regenerative, or medicinal properties, but find them to be a beautiful wonder of the natural world.
Rosemary essential oil
The rosemary essential oil has a nice, slightly woodsy scent. At first, I didn’t think that I would really care for it, thinking of my experience cooking with the herb, but I actually really like it when used in my essential oil diffuser.
Rosemary has long been used in healing and homeopathic treatments because of the stimulating, soothing, and pain-relieving effects it can have. I haven’t noticed any of these, but have enjoyed the aroma filling my home.
Serenity Buddha figure
According to the box’s insert, the somewhat triangle-shaped, and triangles are supposed to represent stability. I think the Buddha figurine is small and sweet. It now sits on the desk in my office as a reminder to myself to look for my inner calm and also as a reminder to spend a short time during my lunch break in meditation.
Rose quartz pointer crystal
As I said earlier, I love crystals and rose quartz is my absolute favorite. “Rose quartz gently draws off negative energy and replaces it with loving vibes,” says the description on my mind full box insert. I’m not certain of that, but seeing the lovely stone on my desk makes me feel happy all day long.
White turquoise and lava stone bracelet
I adore this white turquoise and lava stone bracelet. Turquoise is a stone that I have often worn but I’ve never had white turquoise. The lava stones are igneous volcanic rock (hey, I did learn a little in Geology 101). The beads made from the lava stone can absorb an essential oil so you can wear your favorite scent wherever you go. Elephants are my favorite animal and hold a special significance for me, so I love that this bracelet has one on it. The golden accents also brighten up the bracelet and make it perfect for just about every outfit. I’ve really enjoyed this bracelet.
Lotus flower necklace
The lotus flower necklace is simple and just right for everyday adornment.
The only item in the box that I did not care for was the dreamcatcher. I have nothing against dreamcatchers, in fact, there is one hanging in both of my childrens’ bedrooms.
This one, to me, just seems a little garish and cheap- perhaps it is the rainbow colors and the silver-colored feather ornament- and to be totally honest and transparent it reminds me of something that you might see hanging for sale in a truck stop.
The monthly box is priced at $39.97.
Each box will ship free anywhere within in the US. Your first box will ship within 2-5 days and all subsequent boxes will be shipped on the 7th day of each month.
The Mindful Souls “Mindful Box” subscription is obligation-free and can be canceled at any time. There is also a thirty day free return policy. Other items from the website ship free when you order over $60.00.
I really enjoyed this box and thought it was fun.
I liked each of the products, with the exception of the dreamcatcher, and think they all seem to be of good quality. The crystals are both beautiful and I really enjoy them. The three pieces of jewelry are a lot of fun and I have received so many compliments when wearing each of them. The elephant lava stone bracelet in particular makes me happy to wear.
I am curious to know what would be in the next box but I’m sure it will be a selection of more fun items.
Overall, I think the Mindful Souls box would be a fun monthly subscription to receive and something fun to send as a gift.
