Boom! BonLogic Shower Bombs

A couple weeks ago my sister Rachel and I were talking on the phone and I mentioned that I would love a massage (*hint, hint* sister who studied massage therapy) because I had some muscles on the right side of my neck and shoulders that have been painfully tight and causing headaches for weeks. She mentioned that she had ordered some great lavender shower bombs on Esty, that she would send me some, and maybe it would help me relax.

Like my sister, sometimes my shower is the only time I get to be alone and relax. Mommy time doesn’t happen very often, so I have to take advantage of it and enjoy it as much as possible when I can. Occasionally, I will spray some mint eucalyptus essential oils in the shower or my favorite, lavender. While it is not as relaxing or rejuvenating as a few minutes in a steam room or a massage with lavender-scented oil, it is one way I try to “treat” myself.

Fast forward a couple days- I came home to a package addressed to me sitting on the kitchen counter. I couldn’t figure out what it could be because I knew I hadn’t bought anything. The package was heavy. I briefly thought of what my sister had said about sending me some of her shower bombs, but I dismissed the thought that they could be what was in the package since I had so recently spoken with her. I opened it up and indeed, it was full of shower bombs.

Instead of sending me some of hers, my sister had ordered me three packages of them from Etsy. Rachel is always spoiling me in some way or another. My sister is da bomb. Sorry, I couldn’t resist throwing that in there; I’m a dork and I know it.

I didn’t get a photo of the lavender, I used them all already. I have yet to try the two kinds pictured above.

Speaking of da bomb, these shower bombs by BonLogic are awesome. I received Lavender, Grapefruit, and Lemongrass scents. They smell incredible!

I have bought bath and shower bombs before, and even tried my hand at making them, but they’ve always fizzled out too quickly or not contained very much scent. Not these! At 4 ounces each, they are much larger than I expected them to be and lasted through my whole shower.

The lavender had a strong enough aroma not to be overwhelming but enough strong enough to enjoy and relax me. In fact, they made my whole bathroom smell great all day long. I am excited to try the others, the lemongrass especially, as I love lemongrass.

Find BonLogic Shower Bombs here on Etsy. $8.50 for a 3 pack. They would be a great Mother’s Day idea, or buy them for yourself! Check them out, you’ll thank me later.

I am totally going to buy some more!
